Objective@#To evaluate the clinical effect of clear aligners in the anterior region in non-extraction cases by establishing a three-dimensional model of crown-root fusion to guide clinical application.@*Methods@#Eleven patients visiting the orthodontic department of Xuzhou Stomatological Hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were collected, and the orthodontic plan was designed using Maestro 3D Dental Studio scheduling software to obtain the expected three-dimensional model of the patient's orthodontic treatment result. CBCT, intraoral scan, and 3D reconstruction software were used to create a postoperative model of the patient. The crown and root data were aligned in Geomagic Studio 2014, and differences in torque and axial inclination between the actual model after treatment and the predicted model of the anterior teeth before treatment were compared in 3-matic.@*Results@#The actual torque angles of the anterior teeth were all smaller than the predicted angles before treatment, with the highest realization rate of 77.55% for lateral incisors and the lowest of 60.70% for central incisors; the actual axial inclination angles of the anterior teeth were also smaller than the predicted angles before treatment, with the highest realization rate of 81.49% for central incisors and the lowest of 74.95% for cuspids. @*Conclusion@# A digital model of crown-root integration based on a combination of 3D reconstruction and intraoral scanning techniques is advantageous in assessing the efficacy of clear aligners. In non-extraction cases with clear aligner, the efficiency of movement is higher for small areas of the anterior region.

Objective@#To understand the current situation regarding emergency visits to a university hospital in Beijing, and to provide a basis for the standardized construction and formulation of emergency visit measures to university hospitals.@*Methods@#This study carried out a retrospective investigation and analysis of 73 emergency visits from September 2020 to December 2022 at a university hospital in Beijing.@*Results@#A total of 17 cases(23.3%) exhibited the most common of symptoms associated with convulsions during emergency visits to university hospital, while nine cases of abdominal pain(12.3%) and eight cases of dizziness( 11.0 %) were recorded. The proportion of males and females who presented to the emergency department was 60.3% and 39.7%, respectively. The top three diseases among emergency department outpatients included nervous system diseases(40 cases), gynecological diseases(seven cases), depression and alcoholism(six cases). The peak number of emergency visits occurred in April, May, September and November. The most frequent emergency visits presented from 13:00 to 18:00(32.9%), followed by 7:00 to 12:00(30.1%). Following emergency care, 12 cases improved, 54 cases were transferred to higher level hospitals for treatment, 2 depressive patients were taken home, 5 cases refused referral.@*Conclusion@#University hospitals should develop emergency plans for diseases related to emergency visits, provide targeted training for doctors and health education for teachers and students, and improve the emergency treatment capabilities.

Objective@#To compare myopia prevalence among primary school students in Suqian before and after COVID-19 epidemic, so as to provide a reference for prevention and scientific propaganda of myopia.@*Methods@#Mass sampling was conducted for pupils from 39 primary schools in Suqian during 2019-2020 for ophthalmic examination, including measurement of uncorrected visial acuity and noncycloplegic refractometry. The data of 76 823 and 76 039 students aged 6 to 12 years were statistically analyzed, and the differences of myopia prevalence in two years were compared under different demographic characteristics.@*Results@#The myopic rate before and after the epidemic was 30.2% and 36.9%, respectively.The two examinations all obtained that the myopic rate increased with age, the myopic rate of girls (32.3%, 40.0%) was higher than that of boys(28.3%, 34.2%), and the myopic rate of urban students(34.3%, 41.5%) was higher than that of rural students( 26.5 %, 32.2%). The myopic rate increased significantly at all ages, with students aged 9 to 11 accounted for the most(by 8.6 to 10.7 percentage point), the myopic rate by genders and areas increased significantly, among which female and urban students increased the most(7.7, 7.2 percentage point).@*Conclusion@#After the epidemic, the myopic rate was 1.2 times that of 2019. The myopic rate increased significantly under different demographic characteristics.The myopic situation was not optimistic.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of Nano-Carbon particles and 3D laparoscopy in central compartment lymph node dissection and parathyroid glands protection in treatment of cN0 thyroid cancer. Methods We conduct a retrospective analysis of sixty-five patients with cN0 thyroid cancer who were received 3D laparoscopic thyroidectomy in the last 3 years. All patients were received total resection of thyroid plus the affected side and (or) contralateral side central compartment lymph node dissection. All patients were allocated to control group (n = 32) and carbon nano-particles trace group (tracer group, n = 33). The lymph node-related indexes (including number of dissected lymph node at Ⅵ area, number of Metastatic lymph node and Frozen lymph node-positive rate at Ⅵ area), serum calcium (24 h after surgery) and PTH (48 h after surgery) were collected and compared between the 2 groups. Results Number of dissected lymph node at Ⅵ area, positive rates of intraoperative frozen-section examination of parathyroid glands and PTH (48 h after surgery) were found statistical higher in nanoparticles group than control (P < 0.05). No statistical difference were found in Number of Metastatic lymph node and serum calcium (24 h after surgery) (P < 0.05). Conclusion The clinical significance of carbon nanoparticles and 3D laparoscopy is effective and feasible for central compartment lymph node dissection and parathyroid glands protection in treatment of cN0 thyroid cancer.
